Corner bead micro cement

Hi all
I did a 5 day course and no one mentioned corner bead we used a corner trowel to square the edges.
Do any of you guys use metal or plastic beads.
I was looking at the mesh render beads.
Am only asking as I'm not happy with the edges not looking sharp.

I've did a 5 day course with gold trowel polished plaster and 2 days with impiria italia

You should be able to make the externals sharp with an external corner trowel. If you was to find a bead to venetian up to then you will still see the bead just like after plastering. Venetian is the decoration like paint and should cover the bead. I would practise more with your external edges until you get them bang on
