Had a ball breaker of a day today, just one job, skimmed the ceiling and 4 walls in the morning then in the PM put the floorscreed down in the same room, knackered now and enjoying a pint.

Repairing an ancient interior wall that had been re-covered in at least 5 different materials over the years, all of which failed, about five inches of lime mortar then lime plaster over rough throat brick and flues. I'm on to the 2nd pint now. I raise it to ya. Keep putting boot to ass and trowel to wall.

I'm just cleaning the wand, my trowel and that's me for the weekend now. Lay back and take it easy

2 nice sets today dropping both stairwell walls on a loft conversion, 4.5 bags done for 3pm cleaned up and gone by 3.30. lovley.

did you use a speed skim for the cross trowel ?

nah I ran a plaziflex down it on the last trowel just to shine it up a bit, always do it on stairwell walls force of habit

Finished first week back , feeling back on it now so gonna work this weekend too
