Bonding coat

[MFL Plastering]

Hi guys customer has had a wall skimmed by other plasterers 3 times now and it's blown its on bonding coat in an attic so it's hot up there Pva is not good enough no matter how many coats you do. Was recommended gypprime or bostik cement one plasterer stabaliser

Have you tried pre grit?

Then skim over the bonding before its dried so there’s less suction?

The bonding that's on is in a attic and has been on for 6 years so is very dry and whenever anybody has just Pva and skimmed it always blown

pre grit it. That’ll control suction and give a good key.

Sell them a heat recovery unit to pump the hot air back downstairs

Pre grit usually for low suction

Cementone Primer used to say you can use it on high suction providing you put a diluted coat of SBR 50/50 on first.
