A big thank you to all who have replied, i have had a chat to my client and they are now waiting for the carbon trust to come round and give advice on what to do, once they have done what they need to do , i'll know more about whats got to be done so for the weber chap i'll give you a call once i know more about what the client whats to do. I went to take a panel off to see whats behind the metal fab to find its timber stud and in good condition (no rot) 3 inch fibre glass and oh poo its not plaster board but asbestos so might not do it anyway. Thanks all, TUNNA.

Rigs if I know one thing from the inside of manufacturers its that at all costs look for alternative reasons for problems, never accept liability and avoid all warranty claims. Its across the board mate.
