Might give that some thought thanksHandier to Get a 240v drill if u do domestic?
Considerably cheaper mate, and all ul need is a lead or two. Keep ur 110v for if u need go on site?Might give that some thought thanks
Ref?na Had them for sale 10-15 years ago discontinued them in the end cause they couldnt give em away.
He should of just sprayed them yellow and tripled the price.
@gps has one as well![]()
Yes, really liking it too, it’s getting some serious abuse and standing up very well.
I am on my 3 battery now... it does do everything well but in my opinion i cant see £600
Tbf im gonna agree especially on domestic jobs there is hardly any room sometimes just the thought of mixing anywhere there and then is good ,I have used the dewalt one but haven’t purchased one as my 240v is still okI don’t mind paying a little more for the convenience of mixing up where I like without the need for power. In the short time I’ve had it it’s been a blessing
@megamix ah yes iv been using it since I got it I can’t see it being worth £600 but it’s good for a half decent hit. I let the brother in law use it to knock up some tile adhesive it didn’t have the beans. It’s a good drill for skimming and a little bit of hard wall. I’d say good for domestic but for site it will struggle like f**k. No doubt the cordless mixers will get better in the years. If I would to buy one I’d got for collomix or the metabo just for the speed on the trigger and couple hundred cheaper.Dont get me wrong it is bloody handy and is coping with what I put it through but I wonder how @choppa is coping with his?

Nice i am hoping to be trialling one of them soon. Be good to hear your thoughtsI just took the plunge and ordered the metabo one, was cheap as chips at 215 Inc vat, naked unit

Well it arrived on Friday will give it a whirl next weekG
That’s just silly, chips round here are about £1.60
Just tried the metabo, knocked up a bucket of airless with it before putting it through the machine, I'd be lying if I would say I was impressed. Crock of shite, even the no load speed is slow, however it does make a nice mix, just takes time. Will be keeping it could come handy when no power
Will try it again on a few bags of multi next week, but I think it is only good enough for small mixes and for emergencies.Cheap lol the de Walt is the business ( for what I need anyhow )
Use a dolly on domestic or a stick donot buy this s**t mixer £600 f**k me they see us coming all the f**k**g time Iike plastering contractors do .The collomix and the metabo use the same batteries, the bodies are very similar but not identical, does anyone know if the actual motors are the same? the no load speeds are different but that could just be one company turning the power down to aid longevity. any thoughts?
Very true, just thought I’d float the questionUse a dolly on domestic or a stick donot buy this s**t mixer £600 f**k me they see us coming all the f**k**g time Iike plastering contractors do .
how many.bags of finish and bonding/hardwall at a timeI am using the dewalt one at the moment... mines making some odd noises though....

Yes mate got the dewalt love itHas anyone tried a battery paddle mixer . Want to know what the power is like ? Could they for example mix 2 bags of drywall adhesive or hard wall? Or are they just for skimming ? Which is best I’ve seen Dewalt and collomix make them
It will mix 3 bags sand cementYes mate got the dewalt love it

I haven't tried the default just seen loads of review of it, I only have a default stapler and Stanley knife have no aspirations to buy into their system
