It’s not silky smooth or as durable as proper skim. The finish is dead flat, but grainy.

It's perfect for decoration and it should be smooth.
Also it does go hard but only once paint is applied. Makes it mega easy to patch prior to decs

Here’s one I finished today. Boarded, taped, airless plaster upstairs, sprayed drywall sealer and first coat of emulsion. Doing one next door the same.

Why did you use drywall sealer?
I thought airless is paintable without any prep
