Advice please

hi guys,
Hoping to start my bathroom at home shortly and I’ve got to build a wall out with moisture board. It’s really tight on the width so battens or stud wall are not an option. I’m planning on dabbing the board but have got porcelain tiles going on so was planning on using some of the big insulation washers and fixings to get a mechanical fixture too. Was wondering whether to try the Stixall foam as I’ve never used it only ever use normal dab. Any pointers of anything I may not be considering

always better going back to the base when tiles are going on. If it’s solid, try flexy tile adhesive with 6mm hardie backer

Hack it back to brick. If old house insulate external walls. Dab/foam standard board and use a few mushroom fixings if you’re worried. Wet areas use cement board or modern tile boards.

Only external wall is in shower so will use a tile board.
