I don't if Blue Grit has changed but I used it on a full house re-skim about seven years ago and it definitely killed the suction back then. Horrendously big grit in it though, I much prefer Microgobetis.

Yes it’s quite gritty I normally water it down a bit I like the green aswell (bostik) that kills the suction as well as the blue (no bitching now plz) ;) x
