    repair wall after tile removal

    Please can anyone advise what is the best plaster for wall repair after i have removed all the old tiles of the wall, the wall has some old adhesive left on ,sections with the plaster of the wall ,but generally very uneven and not smooth. I am wanting to retile these walls

    Just a basic DIY,er i will try most things ,we have just got new neighbours and we can hear next doors tv in our living room ,please some advise in fitting soundbloc plasterboard on the wall dividing the rooms.ie which adhesive ,do i need two layers or please advise a different method Thanks...

    Completely changing our kitchen ,we have removed all the very old plaster off the kitchen window wall and we noticed the plaster was very easy to remove behind the sink unit i could not see any previous water links but had a foisty smell the wall had been plastererd at least 3 coats think...

    No the wooden beads have not been removed the cracks are only hairline but the cracks run all the way from floor to ceiling
