We always use the board and stand inside and outside,and use spot boards to straighten onto when floating,far handier job than using out of bucket when skimming, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Our local builders suppliers has stopped stocking nela,too many complaints,it was very hard to get one in decent shape,they were bent all roads,I have a mediflex nela,it's some trowel for the last few runs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Very similar,I'd say the beko is stronger and not at flexible as the nela skimming trowels,some job for levelling in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's finding a good balance,i have three top class workers,problem with two of them is getting them out the full week,they enjoy the weekends,plastering is not in my opinion a job for one man,we have all done it,but things flow way better with a good 2 or 3 and 1 squad with everyone pulling...

Name ur price Simon,in our part of the country I'd say an average man is gettin 80-100 quid working for a subbie,that's it,and the top subbies might pull 140- 160 a man,wages r s**t in this country,I think a top man should pull 750 a week no probs,that would be shite wages to the English men...

U all probably think it's very silly,I have been doing it this way for a few years,when u wet the wall the water always runs to the bottom?so the top is generally dryer than the bottom of the wall,I just wondered if any man had ever tried it,works for me,done a big gable today not a problem this...
