I am looking to buy a paddle mixer... Im more of a diyer at the mo.. and on a bit of a budget.. its for mixing anything from plaster to concrete
Im looking at either a single or double... can anyone tell me what is best?

Seemed my original post got a bit silly in the end...!
Anyway... I finished the job a few weeks ago..
I tanked everything then applied thistle dri coat to half of the walls and moisture resistant plaster boards to the rest... then skimmed over...
The walls seem to be fine...
What about the tanking? Should I still do it as I've bought it n I'm told its none returnable product. Its such a small space I didn't want to make it smaller with battening the walls! Is there no other way?
Thanks for reply flynnyman. When you say insulate do u mean cover all existing wall surfices with kingspan n plaster board? Also now I've already done it should I still tank walls n then render everything with thistle dri-coat? I've already bought all tanking slurry.
The walls are not that bad really.. (not falling appart)
They are solid brick walls, external and internal.
The floor is concrete, not sure about any proper dpc? (when I removed lino and there was plenty of wet underneath it)
Its a small area around 4.5m by 1.8m with very little venterlation...

I have prepared walls and ceiling with febond blue grit and I just want some confirmation that before i skim over with multi finish - should I PVA over the blue grit or will it be ok to skim over it dry?

ok thanks for that.. but as ive already done it... do you think it will be ok or is it going to give problems? it was rough concrete and i put it on upto half inch thick in places..

I have recently plastered some walls... some of the walls are poured concrete...
Everything went on fairly well appart from it drying out too quickly where i did not use loads of PVA..
It all looks to be ok, I am just concerned that I went stright onto the concrete walls with multi...
