I was at goldtrowel and it's alright to get ya certificates and stuff but you need to work with a experienced plasterer after. There is so much left to learn it's not enough.

I've noticed I keep thinking to myself its too dark in here you know what I mean. But in starting to think its me.

I use either a marshalltown 13inch or a marshalltown 16inch I can't use easy fill cos it feels like cheating to me. Every now and then but not all the time.

Only way I can see them is if I get a torch and shine it on the wall.

Its frustrating I finish job come back when its dry and bam in not happy with it I just keep missing them.

Im struggling to see detail when flattening off skimming. My work has got worse as when plaster dries their are now about 5 imperfections on average. Can anyone help? Is it just my vision needing seeing too?

I've done a gold trowel course for city and guilds and NVQ lvl 2 and done about 3 months labouring but work has dried up and in desperate need of money because I have 3 kids and its close to Xmas.

I did 6 week gold trowel course

I did goldtrowel to be honest mate you might aswell just go labour with an experienced plasterer then when you are good go do a 1 week course just to get the city and guilds and nvq .
