Any good tips or guides for working out the amount of stones needed for the bigger pebble dashing jobs? Only done small dashing jobs but got a 2 storey extension to tie in with old dashing so will need to work out the stones. Looks like its Canterbury spar but all painted white anyway.

this is an archway with this bullnose cast in to it and it has a v shape channel running parallel. This customer wants to keep both the bullnose and the v shape channel. So is the only option to feather up the the channel when I skim? What would you do?

What size 110v transformer do you use? Need to get one for my new 1800w alfra mixer but not sure whether to get a 3.3kva or 5kva, pretty sure the 3.3kva will be plenty but seen a good deal on a 5kva. The larger comes with 2x16a and 1x32a sockets.

with regards to internal re skim jobs where you are only skimming one or two walls but can have an external corner which is not going to be touched. So you obviously cant use a corner bead - i normally use a stop bead and fill the small gap.
Is there a better way of doing this?
