Their as bad as the thieving bastards selling muck on eBay. They should have a 10 bag restriction in place and let the trades have first dibs. They lying about stock because they only want to get spreads in to buy that knauf shite at £19 a pop. True colours are being shown by that outfit!

I got chased out of jewsons for driving straight into the warehouse
they said theres absolutely no bonding in.

went back an hour later asked for a brochure on modern renders .....
starting talking to the lads
said who I was working for and hes struggling for bonding ....

no problem mate we know paul
how many bags do you want weve got 80 in stock
..

my local Jewsons has plenty of bonding, hardwall and plasterboard and adhesive but no finish. the manager was expecting a delivery this week but BG phoned on Friday to say that this weeks delivery was cancelled.

my dad was a full time gardener at a local mansion. the money was not good but we did live well fresh veg every day and what ever he shot, rabbit, pheasant ,partridge. when the property next door came up for sale Mr Woods who was a multi millionaire brought it for my dad.

It's purely because bg have got the market..its a nightmare,I mean how hard is it to bring something out similar..we can put men on the moon ffs

I've had an update from my source as you all know previously it was end of July...I'm afraid it's now estimate of September before we see bags regularly on the shelf. Many reasons but mainly supply can't meet demand.

Carlite will be in good supply but 2-4 day lead time.

When the greedy bastards have stopped stockpiling and it starts being left on the pallets it will be dumped in the hedges. out of date solid blocks.

Use by dates are b*ll***s,if stored correctly.i have used gear 5 monthhs out of date,painted it no problems.gear used to have 6 month shelf life,then changed it to 3 month. Nothing changed. Stuff never flashed set.

I've used out of date stuff b4 and its trowelled awful and flash setted.i wudnt buy out of date gear tbh

The point is it is being bought and stored to sell by people who will not use it.
once supplies catch up there will be a glut of old plaster knocking about.

Had my mate call me yesterday, he’s a branch manager of jewsons, they had a delivery of 200 bags of multi, he’s give me 20 bags and that’s the max there allowed to give out per person , and said next delivery is 4-6 weeks, I’m glad I’m rendering at the mo. British gypsum the jokers
