Stay away from Krend as a manufacturer, Weber, Parex or Fassa much better..
Best machine applied, the material it’s self is dead not nice to hand apply.
Best to jump on with experienced men to learn the process out of your area you will be more likely to get help.

Wouldn’t bother with expansions unless you want to give yourself a break?
If so just clean them off before you go..
If you get proper expansions (not just back to back stops) they come pre taped in the gap [emoji106]

Les did the same last time I was in there, works great for not throwing gear out when it's running low.... but when the hopper is full the little extra bit makes the powder drop down, my lad was cursing me because he was tied to the machine due to the powder not lowering...
If it's cavity wall Constuction then modern systems is fine...
Although if there is residual damp & salts present then salt inhibitor sprayed prior the sand & cement with waterproofer would make a lot of sense.
Hardwall isn't to be used in damp conditions.
