Then you can sit back with a smug look on your face knowing that to get where they have got earning a massive £40k they’re saddled with uni dept still @ 35-40, whereas the pond life in front of them is earning more and able to pick & choose when & where we work, don’t have to deal with the shite...
Funny one this age, experience thing...
I’ve always said since I started ‘if you’ve been doing it wrong for 30 years it doesn’t make it right’ this rings true time & time again..
I saw it 15 years ago & I see it to this day.
32 but you wouldn’t believe me, you’d want ID [emoji85]

Yeah I know it doesn’t bud, whereas the seemingly more rigorous ideal one in Ireland does cover it from what I read hence what I was referring too..

What a crock of s**t! 15 pages of bitching, yes men & egotistical helmets..
As with anything like this the yes men are paid to do, so we are never going to get a true reflection of the ‘scheme’ without trying ourselves which I hope is free as my time costs as with everyone’s else’s..
Let’s say...
Stay away from Krend as a manufacturer, Weber, Parex or Fassa much better..
Best machine applied, the material it’s self is dead not nice to hand apply.
Best to jump on with experienced men to learn the process out of your area you will be more likely to get help.
All the best [emoji106]...
Wouldn’t bother with expansions unless you want to give yourself a break?
If so just clean them off before you go..
If you get proper expansions (not just back to back stops) they come pre taped in the gap [emoji106]

Have you used it yet?
Les did the same last time I was in there, works great for not throwing gear out when it's running low.... but when the hopper is full the little extra bit makes the powder drop down, my lad was cursing me because he was tied to the machine due to the powder not lowering...
If it's cavity wall Constuction then modern systems is fine...
Although if there is residual damp & salts present then salt inhibitor sprayed prior the sand & cement with waterproofer would make a lot of sense.
Hardwall isn't to be used in damp conditions.
Insulated plaster boards is also...
Don't think he comes on here much anymore but if you contact him via FB or website I'm sure he'll shed some light on it.

Always try and plug into cooker socket but problem is we have no idea how the house is wired.
If new build or recent referb the kitchen should be on a separate ring to the rest of the house.
If done right..

I've had eczema all my life, very well controlled now not due massively to ointments however I do religiously put moisturiser called *epiderm* (prescription gear) after daily shower/bath.
Could just be a change in your stress levels or environmental changes that's what I feel has been a massive...

This is the brand Mike uses, from what I've been told this is a slightly faster set but not quite as much tensile strength vs a different product by the same manufacturer

@mikeadams1985 use casting, you'll need some joint rules & busks, joint rules will need to be wider than the patch.
Hopefully someone who does knows what they doing will help you.

Just be glad you didn't skim it [emoji106]
You would have been troweling it up while it falls horrible [emoji31]
Sugar soap scrub (get the client to do it) or board & skim ideally

Wouldn't bother even thinking about spraying finish unless you've got massive commercial area to go at it's no faster as a hold lot of f**k**g about.
Machine wise I have Ritmo M without sounding too Pro PFT it's been great, 240v, powerful enough to spray mono everyday 40-80m2 anything more than...
Yeah myself and Marshy have done a couple in France, Brittany and an hour out of Lyon..
We regularly spray Monocouche almost daily, doesn't look like a massive job I'd imagine only a week with a machine.
Going on to lightweight/thermal block Weber spec rendaid due to the high suction I...
Ive seen that as well..
Unusual thing about that one was its was still like piss, the first time I came across distemper it was a suction and adhesion issue which was only a issue when I was troweling up..
Since then goes without saying really I away opt for a hack off and redo, not a fan of...
BG sent me a bit of a spec might help you out @madmonk
Hello!
We spotted the thread you recently started around soundproofing and just wanted to send across our suggestions! Please see below, or you can find some more information in the attached document. If it's easier to chat this through...

Not as such about 45 mins away as Greg said but I'm that way next week so providing they are still looking and someone else hasn't popped over I could pop in on the way through.

It's F*****g laughable this guarantee shite.. can't wait to hear from people who think BG are going to do anything to help if they get some cracks...
Yet another guarantee that's not worth the paper it's written on [emoji85]

Yes lots of times bud, for them jobs where there's cornice and not enough room to overboard, works really well and flattens in lovely, fresh mix for second coat and as everyone says leave it to pull in before doubling up.

MP finish on board is lovely stuff and IMO saves a trowel over BG gear, can just keep throwing it on and it stays workable for ages, even when it starts to change colour it's still workable.
I've not used Uni mostly because of cost and know where stocks it, I will give it a go though at some...
