    The new carlite bonding seems to be alot finer than it used to be and it sets faster, i didnt know it was cheaper

    you will need a couple of joint rules and a very small pointing trowel or leaf tool. you just form the shape of the cornice into the corner with stiffish finish and work at it until it looks right , practice makes perfect . GOOD LUCK

    I always get the customer to lay cardboard on the floor and tape it up , its much safer than dust sheets or tarp.

    Well said spunky! the sponge float is very under estimated imo with a lot of spreads , I have had some of my best finishes when using a spongey but its all about timing.

    Thanks, Ive got 5 bags of reciever and 7 bags of dash for this wall do you reckon thats enough? Ive used this stuff on site and never had to worry about quantities etc.
