Happened to me once really bad but it covered fine with paint. Painter spotted them in with a brush then 2 coats of paint and it was mint. He's not done anything wrong so he wants paying. Only way there's no risk of these things happening are if you fork out the money and rip the ceiling down...

If you go straight over you'll prob use more gear than the first time don't get caught out

Pre grit. Expensive but should kill the suction. Paint it on, leave it 24 hours, scrape any large clumps that stand proud then skim away.

I second invoice simple, it's fast, and looks professional as you can add your logo and a signature. And as you said no more 'oh it mustn't have come through' b*ll***s.

A while ago someone I know rendered a large industrial unit, was obviously a lot of dough so did a payment plan as a one off. Few months down the line they went 'bust' and left the country. I'd steer clear of that shite
