Thanks Guys, same issue for me. Neither are free although Invoice simple is pretty cheap $5.99/mth and looks pretty practical. I might try this, but will have to learn how to use the fckn clever phone.
@Tom - how do you handle advance deposits? - just two separate invoices?

At the moment I use an Excel template for posh jobs (which is a time consuming PIA) and either a handwritten carbon copy invoice book or hand-write on a headed blank invoice sheet I've already made and copied a bunch.
Tax man cannot insist on you keeping copies, as long as you have an adequate record of monies charged and coming in - which is your workbook/diary note right?

The app logo looks exactly the same as invoice simple that's where I made the mistake

Ok, thanx. I can only seem to get it in us dollars. If customer pays by card they seem to get a cut. Think I'm too techy thick to handle this.

If you put your info on the invoice and they pay through their bank nobody should get a cut. If I'm doing a deposit or part payment I put on the invoice 1/3 payment etc and do multiple invoices. The one I use also logs what you've invoiced for then at the end of the year you can calculate what you've got to pay the tax man. One less stress.

Was impressed worth the money thanks
It should be free mate
You can put your company logo bank details etc on and use it for quotes and it automatically copies to invoices,
This is the actual link
