    Are ocr's any good though have you ever used any there's quite a few Hanson, Weber etc there's also eco rend so don't know what to use.the walls are also spalling so I'm going to have to rake out the joints God give me strength if not I'll top myself

    Another student plasterer who didn't even want to be a plasterer if it wasn't for him i would of qualified. but karma got him a few years later he came off a motorbike and suffered brain damage resulting in memory problems not recognizing people etc he's still alive somewhere.

    It was 22yrs ago in college we didn't use ratios yet just sand and lime to mimic render if I'd stayed longer I wouldn't be asking sadly I was kicked out for fighting.

    Hi how would you plaster over an RSJ. on here there's a librarian who had a botched plastering job done and was just wondering how it's done. would you use angle bead to repair corner or just plaster up to a feather edge cheers.

    Hi has anybody got experience in using one coat plasters internal is it suitable to plaster straight onto bare brick once its been pva'd. and how long does one have to wait before troweling/polishing it up after application thanx.

    It needed it there were a lot of spalling bricks as well being to softer brick/seconds.

    This is 6 months ago windows etc have bee replaced and brickwork pointed just wanted some advice on one coat render i did 1years course at college full time so have experience i've rendered many walls just not with one coat you are too quick to judge.
