You could dry dash it and then throw a wet slurry coat over it after , same affect but not as messy

Got a few cracks to sort out there in an old house done with like a concrete block finish. pure solid, they have penatrating damp caused by these cracks outside any ideas the best way to cure prob. we wer just going to track out them and fill with s+c with waterproofer , would this work

You could give hire a wall scabbler or needle gun to try take the paint off and give you a key to work on, then slurry coat then scratch

Your mortar has to be good stuff not to thin or thick lay it on with a skimming trowel , make sure to damping wall first then stand back a bit and flick pebbles on with a dashing scoop. not as easy as it looks mate takes time to perfect.

I got one they ,charge you vat on it at end of month when bill comes in so you need to charge client this aswell .but found the prices are just as dear as local builders so i just use them now.
