Went to look into getting a new trowel and was looking at a worn in one. Whilst looking down the blade I noticed that all the corners were slightly raised. Is that the norm or were they damaged?

no its the norm with pre worn trowels, they are still not worn enough though but they just put a bit of shape to them ,nothng you cant do your self on an oil stone in 5 minutes ;).

Cheers. Guess I'll stick to non worn in ones in future. Problem is I've not done any rendering in ages, and all the work that comes may just seems to be kitchen/bathroom ceilings(over artex jobies) and mainly the odd bathroom wall. Love being inside on a lovely summers day
