Hello everyone,

I am looking for some advice in to how to damp proof a garden room that was built using thermalite blocks. I had applied sand and cement render on the outside walls and I am looking for some advice on what is best for the interior walls.
My wife will like to use this room as a hair salon and she will be washing and drying hair etc.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Kind regards,

Flo

High humidity so ventilation is key, if it’s single skin it’s better studded off on the inside in timber staple vapour barrier to the back of the stud, stand it up kingspan in between then board and skim.
