Hi lads, im after some help been using a strata mp025 for through colour render for a couple of years now love the machine, i have always used a 5kva transformer 32amp that plugs into the mains as i mainly do domestic work the problem i have is when spraying its not continuous theres a break every 5 seconds where the gear stops coming out then the air just blows what muck is on the wall then kicks back in and sprays some more problem is it makes alot more mess and is really frustrating could this be a power issue ? Have rang strata but there useless. Do these machines run better of a big generator?
Any help or advice would be great

Turn plug off at switch download you porn and get sock ready! Cures most problems in life
Merry Christmas x

Might be your start up procedure, as in too much water when you first prime mixing tube, if you put too much water in it impedes powder flow to chamber, try reducing it. I have never used a strata pump but try it and see if it helps with continuity. The above comments don't mean any harm, they are just plasterers(y)

I used to have one of these, they always worked better when I hired in a generator. It’s an easy job to change it to 240v as all the components on it are 240v.

I’m a renderer..and orange is the way…could it not be your mixing shaft is worn down??….what do I know??

Alot by the sounds of it the mixing shaft does look worn
[/QUOTE

Hazard to guess it’s the shaft…could be a matter of things, but I’d start there..if it’s worn change it,then process of elimination..but I reckon that mate..

Ring les lord at pft,you might have trouble getting him now though ad he’s prob in the Bahamas sunbathing in his pants

Any idea where i could find out how to convert to 240v
I had a guide somewhere, basically you open the transformer at the back and the main cable from machine that goes into transformer you take off them attach a cable with plug. The machine is 240v that uses a transformer to step it down.

Will defo start with the mixing shaft just trying to get hold of one strata never get back to me, there a couple of ritmo m on eBay at the moment I only ever do domestic work with mono would these be ok compared to the l?

I’d say mixing shaft mate.if it was spitting for me I’d always start there,it needs to be replaced anyways,so work from there…then compressor, air lines..water etc ,so forth ;)

Then bin it and go all out if you are in the market..complete on here has a decent one..

Do I get a free t-shirt now ffs!!
