Took me years to go through the shortsighted fools , subbed work through the same two decent ones for the last 20 + years , I do work on their jobs and they pass decent customers on if it's straight plastering , take no cut and if I ever get any problems they put the customer in there place , life's bliss

It's AMAZING how many millenial bell-ends can't grasp that that is one of the very best ways to go through life. All they're looking for is me,me,me, now,now,now, and getting professionally offended at the slightest opportunity!

I partly blame tv programmes ,,,, get three quotes lol
No personal knowledge of seeing someone's work , just price , do it up and flog it , very few homes for life now , most of my work is in villages where people have a society reputation and don't want to be labelled an unfair greedy c**t

Mate there's lads on here that will vouch for me, I started only taking new bookings for next year in February it's been a bumper 2 years for me, admittedly rendering is different and I'm only 2 and 1 gang some jobs take a month so it doesn't take many.
I could expand but been there and wasn't worth the headache and wasn't much in it profit wise.

Have you tried asking customer why , no harm done as long as you don't end the conversation with " fcuk you "
Never know being polite may stand you in good reference if a cheap corner cutters job dissapoints
