stickin thermal board

got a few steel post to stick thermal board to is gripfil the best way or does the gripfill burn through the polystyrene
but if i use phenolic insulated thermal board does this react aswell ?

Gripfill will just melt the polystyrene mate.
The yellow tube of gripfill won't though.
