skrimming ceiling when not plastering walls

As you can see my first post so this is all new and also reasonably new to plastering/skimming etc.Whats the craic when skrimming p/booard ceiling in corners when your not plastering wall or no coving going up.Whats genral practise or best option.Any advice or wind up's welcome.Thanx......

Run scrim flat around edge or skim top 3 inch of walls..I just scrim ceiling edges and skim..

Lol is this were it starts....
Ceiling is getting boarded by the joiner who passed job on and his boarding leaves a lot to desire.

Grab a roll of Hesian Scrim and bond the internals with it - OH! you don't know about Hesian?? - OOPS!!
