You can make your own out of beetle droppings but i dont know where you get them from sorry.

buy from liberon or any french polishing suppliers. Buy the ready mixed or the flakes and disolve in meths. simples!

he's actually half right about the beetles, its not their droppings but what they bind egg casings to branches with. Found a supplier yet? Hundreds of em about.

It is actually a secretion expelled after eating,and is a natural polymer,its produced by the coccus lacca or Lac beetle,they may use it to attach eggs not sure about that.....was one of the first things taught to me in the fibrous shop....many moons ago.
