Yep that is the only way..cash jobs,dont buy materials on account..f**k knows how you would pay cash tho at this minute.there not stupid there wont just fall for the I cudnt get gear etc..even if you have taken money there will see it as you wasnt effected.every man and his dog could say there was effected ffs with not getting materials,that will not just wash I'm afraid..good luck
 
Is it worth getting your collar felt for a claim if you’re working
I’ve been in after the lockdown after taking the eight weeks off and the phone is ringing all the time
I told the accountant I shan’t claim for this second payment and he advised me to take it but I will not take it
As said earlier you can’t pay cash for materials so there is a paper trail leading to you

im not stupid... me is paying cash to the facebook sellers £30 a bag innit!

Very useful, thanks Donzo. I spoke to Martin Lewis on the radio about the first grant. He's a good guy. Also got £700 back on council tax band after following his advice. Check you're on the correct band. If not claim past overpayments.

Thanks for this, I was really unsure if to claim or not for the 2nd grant but after reading this I think I will as material costs have risen because of all this and lack of BG finish about. Thank you.

Remember that second grant relates to AFTER 14th July so make sure any proof relates to after this date.
Buy some hand sanitiser and disposable gloves and keep receipts that should be enough to claim.

Apparently a few screen shots of merchant or big shed sites saying "not available" or "out of stock" for materials will be useful too. (y)

If you claim best of luck m8. But if your still working and paying your way it fraud and they might catch you out . We have got to think of the people affected by this pubs reastrount cafe ect who really needs this money. Nothing against you but I've noticed gready people on here that are obsessed whith money.

Besides hes still paying his catalogue off for his girls size 8 samba trainers from 1995 he needs this money!!!

Dont bother me . If you cant do some one a favour what can you do. I asked wife if I seeing her right and they been good mates for ever. She keeps trying to give me extra but I refuse. Gave little en brand new north face jacket though

Mate...I'm the same I've never charged close family & friends...but like wise they always throw something our way for appreciation.
