mixing sbr tomorrow as a slurry,when rendering on a 10 sand 2 cement mix,using sbr in the mix, how much should i put in, 1 pint? thanks lads.

if your using it to modify the render then a gauging mix of 9:1 water sbr

why are you doing it mate just out of interest ive never added it to s/c before

it acts as a waterproofer,better adhesion,less chance of cracks all in all supposed to be the dogs wotsits.

discussing sbr with another plasterer, he puts sbr in scratch coat mix as well as waterproofer,said he has had some problems with waterproofer not holding back enough and with sbr better all round, i emailed technical dept at cementone, and the reply was( waterproofer and sbr will entrain too much air and reduce density of mortar, could make the mortar weak and friable,thought i 'd pass the info on lads.
