Pva Blue grit

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has advice with blue grit. We put the blue grit on but are now unable to plaster these areas until 5 days later. Would you pva the blue grit now?
Bad batch of blue grit taking 5 days to dry no need for pva

Did you blue grit wet plaster ?

Not sure if he means it's not dry

But that it's been left for so long.

If so, it'd be fine.

Even weeks later, just move cobwebs.

If the blue grit has already been applied and it’s been a few days, you generally don’t need to PVA over it. Blue grit is designed to provide a good mechanical key for plaster and doesn’t usually require any additional bonding agents. As long as the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, you should be fine to plaster directly over it — even after a few days. If it’s gotten dusty or dirty while waiting, just give it a light brush or wipe down before starting. Only consider a thin coat of PVA if the grit looks chalky or has lost adhesion, but that’s rarely needed.
