95% of the people on here use pft machines on here but nobody sprays multi. I spray mp finish as it's made to spray. I used to spray multi years ago but had a lot of problems spraying it tbh. Never had a problem with mp finish. Multi will spray but u can't put the gun down for a minute or two or it will block the gun or hose. Plus it's a c**t to clean out of the machine and gun.Hi
I'm new to the forum and this is my first post .
Anyone got any experience with the putzmeister M25 , how it compare the PFT and Mtec and can it spray multi finish .
Thanks

I have the ritmo. I've only used it once for mp finish and was happy with it. I'll be spraying mp finish next week again with it. It just makes life a bit easier. Don't be thinking I have a machine and am going to blow houses out of it. U have to finish what you put on. It takes the machine 5 min to mix and put on a bag so about a board a minute it's only one coat. It' takes me 15 min to set the machine up. When one man is setting up the machine. Get the other man to mix up a bit of finish and coat around beads and reveals. That way u don't have to cover windowsWhat machine u use for spraying mp finish? I'm getting bored of skimming houses by hand
Depends how much you are going to be doing. If you are on a building site I'd go for a diesel machine u f**k**g about just turn the key and off u go. @Plasterers1StopShop do them. I wouldn't be the best to advice u on 3 phase machines. I have a Ritmo l 240v good small machine can do all. Wouldn't be the fastest doing mono but not that slow either. What pft machine would you recommend for spraying monocouche ?
Thanks

How long does it take to do a set with mp finish? And how many m2 are you doing with it? And how many men are finishing it?
Any idea what the m100 is like for spraying mono?
Think about it mate it's a 110v pump, Clemo has already said diesel or three phase for mono,I've never used a diesel i do have a three phase and it's great for mono I also have an eze for top coat and occasionally thin coat and I do a lot of thin coat with my 3 phase to if I'm only doing a small job and use the eze I can really tell the difference between the 3 phase with a slow rotor and stator and the eze whacked up to 10

I've worked with loads of Irish lads over the years and always had a good craic
The flame.
It all depends on your type of work
Diesels sound great plug and play but to clean them out and store them you need big jobs and a lots of room. they r not for small gangs.
Diesels will pump further but unless u intend pumping over 50 mts away from the machine day in whats the point. they are good for liquid screeds but theres just no need for them IMO
3 phase electric pumps are like riding a bike. once you knoww how to do it.thats it.
These machines are suited to say gangs of 3 or more. they can be faster or slower depending what you need for the job just by changing the pump unit.
These bigger mixing pumps require big generators so bear in mind shifting that about job to job.
Then u have smaller machines. you can go 110v or 240.
These suit smaller gangs and can pump fast enough and far away enough for any type of job but not as far as a 3 phase obviously.
Pumping skim .you may here lots of different opinions . all i can say is over the years many have tried but it just doesnt take off. bear in mind its one thing getting stuff on the wall with a spray gun but finishing to a high standard and getting paid is a different thing only a plasterer can understand
