Hi everyone,
I'm having a basement reno done (not DIY but just wanting to check with people in the trade). The guy has put up standard plasterboard on the walls first (floor to ceiling), and then put on fireboard ceilings after. This is opposite to what his colleague did in the other room of the basement. Does it matter?
Other than that, are such gaps as shown in one of the pictures ok (you're looking at floorboard to the ground level in the gap) or should he be fitting it more closely? And where there is damage (pic 2) is that ok or does such damage need fixing?
Thanks for any advice x
