So a customer got me to quote months ago, then the weekly texts started of “can you not do that bit but this instead and make the quote cheaper. Eventually I have become annoyed and this was the icing on the cake so I had to tell them enough was enough. Probably cutting my nose off to spite my face seeing as it was only a small amount but if someone is like that before you start they will be a nightmare when you are there . Alarm bells should have rung when they said the builder who did the last 2 rooms wouldn’t return their calls. Have I been a bit OTT?

People like that deserve to have their properties vandalised by some two bob c**t of a bogus "plasterer".
It's the perfect situation where a cheap c**t ends up getting even cheaper c**ts to do the work, then ends up scratching their heads when there's zero quality to the work.
Then comes to the false impression that all plasterers are dodgy incompetent rip off merchants. So heads off to youtube because they think they can do better, it's a circle of idiots. Unfortunately this modern age just breeds that type of thinking/person.

Its a big problem. The media, tv , etc. Company's trade on the premise of picking out honest tradesmen for you. Tradesmen are totally vilified ! I actually think its a class thing, as being working class has become a negative thing to be.

The skilled working class have been under attack for a long time. It's stupid because it gives kids who don't have educational achievements a chance to become skilled and have a path to something better.
Successive governments have devalued the apprenticeship system, now you can get a 6 month apprenticeship in box stacking.
