Seen this today £30 to buy it's mobile can take payment from anywhere debit/credit card thought might be good for taking deposits for jobs and on the odd payment when work is completed,they take 2 % on transaction..
Thoughts?

Yeah I've got one of those iZettle Bluetooth ones. That must be the new one.
I'm pretty sure it's 2.75% per transaction...
Takes 4 working days to reach your account.
Used it 4 times in 18 months, no one wants to pay the extra 3% I charge.

I've never had a problem with cash or bank transfer. Why hand over a portion of your earnings to a company that hasn't earned it?

Agreed , I was thinking be good to take deposits and payment if I thought they were pain in arse ?

I've got one. Good system. If someone's ceiling collapses and they havnt got the money they can put it on their credit card, including my 5% surcharge.
My one was free, you plug it in to the head phone jack of your phone. It e mails the customer a receipt as well

Exactly what I was thinking add more % and money straight in bank receipt sent email wicked ,sod it I getting one , when quoting if someone says it's more than what they thought it would be I can say...it's okay I take credit card payments right now as well,lol,spot on tommy

This one is free, all the details appear on phone screen. If you use a credit card to pay for a flight you pay a surcharge so people understand . Bit like a payday loan but cheaper

That's not bad compared to the one i did last week, I had to go and get 5 bags of bonding on the first day of the job after agreeing how much extra it was going to cost them for me to put their stud work and boarding right, of course ;)

I just skimmed it. I was told by the builder it was ready. The boards where moving about when I was skimming them.
