Anyone sprayed Parlumiere Clair, basecoat and Parlumiere Moyen top coat(to be scraped) Just wondered if it performed like monorex or if theres anything different about it,setting times etc. Any tips appreciated. Ta

yes i have steve,
hand applied it and sprayed
is it a flat substrate your applying it to, or are you building it out in coats? depend what substrate you are applying it to aswell, we put a primer on prior in each case before and clair was applied.
you dont want to put more than 10mm of clair on at a time, if you are it needs a day per 10mm to cure, to apply and spray its pretty much the same as standard monorex.just give it a drink of water before you apply the top coat.
the only differance with the moyen it takes longer to go off ready for scratching, we applied it first thing in the morning and left it to the following morning and it was spot on but it was a cool day.
and wear a mask when scratching back and goggles as the lime particles get everywhere.

Cheers Rich, Its a Chop off re-render job.Grade2 listed building. So not to sure what substrate will be like. The spec is 3 coat lime. Think the conservation officer is happy with the parex system. So this primer went on before the clair? Do you think its necessary and what is it called? Thanks mate.

the last job we did it on, the building was also grade 2 listed.
fixopierre was the primer[watered down], you use it on any lime mortar substrate as a stabalizer.and/or you can add it to your base coat id say it was necessary in our case they wouldnt issue a warranty for the application of it unless we did.
3 coat lime is 2 coats of you clair then.we also fully meshed ours aswell with tv10 just to be on the safeside.
mask any lintels and windows up as its a bugger to get off stonework worse than monorex id say, it sort of eats into it.
you need to let each coat fully cure aswell, ie a day per 10mm.

owt else give us a buzz steve.

we jet washed the original substrate prior with lankomouse aswell to get rid of moss etc off it
