Just took delivery of an ox 127x457mm pro series finishing trowel. When you look down the riveted Center bar it has a slight bend in it thus resulting the stainless steel blade having the same Bend in it too.

Does anyone use this trowel and know if this is how it’s meant to be? If not I’ll assume it’s a manufacturing defect and send it back.

Thanks

These are the two trowels but it’s the bigger one I’m wandering about

Can’t return them after taking them for a spin though! Lol
Saying that it’s not an expensive trowel, bought them out of curiosity to give them a go. Will break it in the next rendering job I guess

I find that most new trowels on the market dont last long mate.

that's the thing with most things being bought online nowadays a headache sending back.

I've had loads turned up bent :rayos: :rayos:

the 18" actually doesn't look that bad can see the slight bend ..

I'd crack on with it
hasn't warped the other way (y) (y)

Think your right mate. Thought I’d spend out on some new trowels and experiment a little with a few things on the market.
I’m coming to the conclusion that there are just too many trowels to choose from and are they needed? I’ve had the same trowels for years but doesn’t hurt to find any game changers out there. Recently purchased and Nela flex 2 but not entirely sure about it.

As Algeeman says give it a go , lost count how. much I spent on trowels, was hoping there a competition on here soon forum normally has a trowel comp each year

I have the same trowel, it is slightly dished. I think it's the design. They are my favourite make of trowel now. The 18in is great for laying on.
