One coat dash receiver is very common, straight over the old dash no problem.

Same on new work? Just wonder why the stones wouldn’t go right through if it’s got a decent coat on?

You’d still need a scratch coat onto new block, it’s only for going over existing dash mate.

Not sure about that Rossi, he can't get his head around a drainage let alone plastering. Have you seen his garden lately - copy of the Manchester train station

Seems to be ok for now but not had a lot of rain to test it. I’ll post pics tomorrow

It’s thickens up really quick, too quick sometimes and skins over and stones bounce. Lay it on and wait till it starts to pick up and get your stones on, cracking stuff to use. I’ll post pics if I can find them
