Quick one lads.
If I am going to plaster as a one off or not very regularly and buy a couple of trowels:
How do you break it in, as I've been told using a brand new trowel is a huge no-no.
Can I just find a bare concrete surface and use the back and forth to remove the sharp edges?
Also do you round the edges or do they need to be pretty much still square?
