the 'meca fina' used to 'tart up' machine plaster... doesnt really help lucius... why and what is it? what does 'tart up' mean? and is it acidic or alkaline? to help the discussion reach a conclusion you understand?

Mecafina is a very fine slow setting plaster which is sometimes used to make good machine plaster which has come out a bit scabby, some people put a couple of hand fulls in each mix of one coat as they say it finishes better but ive never had to do it. Dont know if its acid or alkaline but pretty sure its gypsum.If you google www.placo.es and go to yesos you will find it there amongst many others, you can translate this page.
