I'm sure you'll get a load of abuse but " it's finished " are two magic little words that make the world go round , especially in my wife's world
A more balanced or even knobs on the left hob might have improved the situation , it's amazing how modern little boxes people have to adapt to living in

A small suggestion
Box the hood , pink plasterboard , right across to triangle the walls
Make it more balanced
Use the void for recessed shape to hang utensils etc
