mr systems

Hi guys think i,ve got a first for youse, my mate who happens to be a building surveyor bought a 2 year old house and the MR system is starting to blow, NHBC are out on the 18th to inspect my mate had a peice that blew off, it was a common brick background and going by the blown off section the 1st coat is around 4mm and the dash receivor coat the same, i,m stumped never seen this application appled so thin any advice would be great guys thanks

Im confused by what you mean MR system. mr is usually moisture resistant inside ???

MR is a render sysytem that was used a few years back, it goes on insulation board they use a tile adhesive (same as lac or most board adhesives) they also done loads of coloured dashing systems , wasn't particularly nice gear but it did smell nice , they dabbled with scraped renders but don't think it ever took off. i'm not even sure if MR are still trading

i know you can/could use MR straight onto brickwork but not 100% on what system you would use as not used it for years

Sorry in Scotland it was prety common it,s s imilar to K rend point was the thickness or lack of it . any pointers
