Mono over lightweight blocks

I've been asked to price a new build, he wants mono on lightweight blocks! What's the correct way to do this guys? Rendagrip then spray? Or is there a mono which can go straight on? Any advise would be appreciated! Cheers, Rhys.

Cheers Andy! The pre rend is trowel or roller on isn't it? & must ensure a stipple finish? How would you go about meshing it? Trowell the pre rend on, mesh, then scratch isit?

Who Evers mono you use then use their pre-rend. Eg. weber use rend-aid, Parex us microgobetis etc.

Krend will spec hpx then mono.

Parex will spec micro as rigs says.

You need a lightweight product.

Granicem ul is good for this

Light weight less then 7 newton ,i just mesh ,only rendaid on low suction back grounds , but that's just me

If its a roll on product Rhys, I would mesh in the first pass of Mono.

As plasterjife said, Granicem UL. Made for lightweight blocks. Usually needs ordering in.
