No problem with dot and dabbing them, and no need to prime themI knew you had to prime them if going to skim, but didnt know you cant use board adhesive to stick them..

you can tile straight onto them
you take away the whole point of it being moisture resistant if you skim em...you might as well use standard board.
and if skim is to be put on an MR board (for example if you're part-tiling on MR and want to skim remaining areas, they need to be gritted first as MR boards contain silicone

as for fixing MR I've always battened em but then again I didn't do a lot of it, my speciality was in sound-proofing but as with anything you dot n dab the sub-surface needs to be suitable for this method
i do believe though that BG's official installation video guide on MR boards state they can be dot n dabbed so I don't think you have any concerns there.

Very aggressive over abit of skim. Multi adheres fine to moisture board. Noone on here will have had or will ever have a fail on moisture board skimming straight onto it, can guarantee it.
