received my mixm8 (Mix M8 | The most advanced mixing tool on the market) from the forum the weekend tried it out today for first time today.
The good points:
-mixes a bag of skimming well with no lumps
-ideal for mixing with cordless drill
-no damage to buckets
-Brilliant for small works or jobs without power
The bad points
-makes the 18v drill work hard
-no quicker than paddle drill
-comes with adapotor to fit to paddle drill which is diffucult to balance properly (makes paddle shake) and fit
Mixm8 paddle is ideal for diy person who doesnt want to buy a paddle drill or sds drill with paddle or brilliant for samll jobs like skimming small ceiling or wall and where there is no power availible or easily sorted,if i needed anymore than one skimming bucket full i would still set up my refina drill save wearing out my cordless and charging batteries which are expensive.i dont think i would buy one at 30 quid as you can buy a paddle attachment for a sds with a chuck or buy a lidls finest fo 40 quid, but for knocking up a builders bucket of skimming on a private job its ideal and will be a handy bit of kit cheers ian
