Hey all, I've got a few questions about Microcement...

How important is moisture content in the walls you are putting microcement onto?

Do the walls have to be perfect flat substrates or can there be areas where there is imperfect backing substrate and areas skimmed and meshing over them?

If youve got moisture in the wall theres always that chance of it coming through and getting trapped and staining die to it having no where to go.I had to re-apply a bathroom after another so called applicator just went over damp substrate.Microcement when installed correctly and sealed will be 100% waterproof from the face but obviously not from behind.

First priority should be to get wall areas prepared correctly.Also do your research on microcement and get some training.
