Yup, used to work for a Warrington firm down south, also called the Irish spanner someplaces.

Thing is, moment you touch the job with your tools you're going to own it. If you don't care about your rep or bull on websites etc. then fine you can walk away and leave 'em.
But if your business relies on your rep, or in my case you've got a standards body who can feck you up (HETAS), then you cannot leave it, and call backs can cost money, especially if the travel is long.

Before power tools the technical screwdriver was standard chippy site practice, to sink the first 2/3rds into the wood, then use the Yankee screwdriver the finish it off. You'd never make your money on price work otherwise.
