Lime render on timber frame

Hi,
I am relatively new to this forum and this is my first post so please excuse any errors or stupid questions.
I am getting an old timber framed house rendered after removing previous sand/cement render. I am using 25mm Savolit woodwool boards directly onto the timber frame as per "Skanda" savolit technical spec, then taping the joints and intending to render with 2 coats lime render with mesh in first coat. I was hoping to use "l*m*-g***n" Duro basecoat and "l*m*-g***n" Natural Finish ( a through coloured top coat) to avoid painting the finished render. However, my renderer has some reservations about these products in terms of flexibility, despite "l*m*-g***n" technical department saying this would be fine. Their website mentions many benefits to their products but doesn't say much about flexibility, which is a concern. I can't seem to find another through coloured lime render though.
My second question is: should I use a breather membrane on the timber studs, before fixing on the Savolit boards.
Any advice would be very welcome.
Thanks.

Hi,
At Best of Lime we are based in East Anglia and specialise in flexibility, as most of our local building stock is heavy timber framing.
Warmcote (non-hydraulic and insulated) as the base coat, Limecote (non-hydraulic, chalk and lime mix) is the highly flexible finish coat.
If you want to be 'belt and braces' fit the Savolit with an 8mm spacer around each board, then retro glue with their expanding foam adhesive, plane off once dry. Bed a 10mm mesh in the Warmcote.

Hi @Martin Brown how much do you charge for a roll of your 10mm mesh? We used to get the Parex gear, but our supplier switched to Weber unfortunately.
