Setup the mtech-200 today ready for K rend mono spray. Primed the chamber with gear on the recommend water and speed setting and was coming out like a weird unmixed dry powder. Was like the water didn’t want to mix with the powder. Very weird. Any ideas?

Yeah bet you do, same as the wallpaper paste through your pipes for lubrication as well. W⚓️
Hahaha He's telling the truth you should put washing up liquid through the rotor and stator when you wash down it keeps it lubed up and yes He's also telling the truth about wallpaper paste
Most machine users will know this

You need a soft stator for k-rend on the ritmo Maybe it the case here too

Two holes for water into the mixing chamber, you got the correct one?

We’ve been spraying krend basecoat, k1 and had no issues what so ever. It’s only started happening with mono. K rend saying change the parameters on the machine. P1 saying it’s the material absolute nightmare.

The base coats go through fine the mono doesn't avoid k-rend mono it's s**t it's a nice finish but the smaller machines don't like it and it's more than likely to crack

Lol dunno what to believe on this. I mean Wallpaper paste through the pipes does sound a bit odd right?
Not really, Think about it logically you put water through the pipes the water will dry, lube it up with paste and when you clean the pipes the water will flush the paste away. You wouldn’t try bumming your bird or bloke with with water would ya? No I hope you’d use lube and be kind.

We can agree to disagree - when set up correctly and you know how to use it. They are excellent. But, that goes for any machine. We encounter guys having issues with every machine, Ritmos included.
But if you was really truthful with yourself and you was a domestic renderer there would be a ritmo in the back of your van Ryan, you know it, I know it:sisi:

Thing is our crew spent £10,000 on this setup
From p1 you expect it to spray fkn anything other machines can for that price. Struggles with 20m hoses most of the time. So many jobs with correct setup to the t there has been problems. No wonder everyone on here slates the mtech and seen so many people who have moved to ritmos from mtech. We got 2 pallets of mono on this job that don’t like the “smaller” machines. However we saw a crew down the road spraying 3 sides of a bungalow using mono with a ritmo

To be fair if it’s the material and not the machine then krend are a bunch of c**ts for advertising as designed for machines if all machines don’t spray it after spending thousands on gear.

Can you advise your company name so I can look into your purchase details and when the training was?
The M200 can certainly spray K Mono - we did it on their demo and launch day and have many customers doing it.
It is worth noting, people tend to vent when they have issues, it can also be seen on FB when people have issues with the M200, Ritmo, and even diesel machines! We have had plenty of customer move from PFT to M-tec, and vice versa - it's part of the industry.

The M200 was successfully spraying K-rend amongst other Renders long before the KMONO even came to the market, surely we can't be held responsible if they have done something to their material that makes it more difficult to spray? It is common knowledge that certain manufacturers have had issues with their products going through machines even going through the Ritmo...!

Maybe if you advise on your water settings and other parameters we can try and help, or as stated before, call us. You're also more than welcome to come back, free of charge with the material and we can run it with you and go over everything.

In truth, P1 nor M-tec had any involvement with testing KMONO. Not once were we consulted about the product going through the machine. We were advised it was tested via a Ritmo as they had issues with K1 going through a Ritmo.

On the demo day, we were given the water settings to run the machine at, which were incorrect, and thankfully we didn't run it the way they suggested!
