All this sounds a right faff, what with different sands,lime plasticiser's and waterproofers can't you just use gypsum. Or like you say nicklearse you and a pleb on the hawk and trowel.

Just about nick . I got it about a foot or 2 down the hose. Think it was mixed to thick. Am doing float and set tomorrow i might try 5/1 and wetter.

When I did it I mixed it wet.

How wet @bobby. Let's say if u put it on the hawk (handboard) would it be workable off the hawk or 2 wet to be on the handboard.

It would be workable although wetter than you normally have it.machine gear tends to wetter anyway.
Next time I do it I will video it.
